Profiles In Paint

"Lust and Bad Breath"
Unleash the Gremlins in your head via paint on canvas, and you will find peace.
Art Therapy pulled me out of a dark place you may find yourself in. Profiles In Paint is solely therapeutic selfishness, so if and when you need it, I hope this helps open the doors and free the Gremlins.
Join me on this journey. You might need this mental GPS to light the way out of your dark places.
Gun Art- "The Rattler"

Before the cancer diagnosis, my only painting experience was Rattle Can, painting riffles purely for fun, but some of the guns I did for friends turned out pretty damn sweet. This is a section devoted to them. Rattle canning (spray painting guns) is not new; soldiers and hunters have used spray paint for years for camouflage, and now a lot are using Cerakote for a more in-depth process.....me, I am old school. "They Call Me The Rattler" lol. I name my creations. Why notFirst let me be clear, I don't hunt I don't kill animals. I kill paper (targets). Long background in law enforcement and the military I became fascinated with firearms, the craftsmanship, the mechanics. I became a halfass gunsmith, expert shot with pistol and rifle and a range officer. I am not a "gun nut", a nut but not a political gun nut. ? Everything in life takes on some meaning.
Two of my earlier projects, "VooDoo" and "XRay", friends blindly gave me these guns and ask me to "do my thing" lol little did they know what Tequila and I do YIKES! I never promise or tell them what I am going to do or what color scheme....not sure why but they trust me, wowser. I don't charge for my work, I only work for friends and Tequila.
My military career in Republic of South Korea, in he field and me on the left with my late patrol partner Dave...miss those days. Developed an appreciation for the mechanics of the M-16 and the 45.

Yup, that's me on the top of my cruiser. Off duty going to a meeting and got involved with a nut trying to kill people, rammed her (yup her) off the road and when I exited my vehicle she tried to run over me....up on the roof like Spider Man lol. The 12 gauge pointed at her proved she was not as "nuts" as I thought. Funny how the open end of a 12 gauge pointed at your face can bring someone back to reality :0
I show these photos only to point out my association with firearms.
Left to right
Me as County PD, Narcotic agent Georgia, Town PD (my daughter in the photo) and our Nationally ranked combat pistol team. Me, John Smith and Danny Tavenner. Mount Weather held the competition each year with all federal agencies....we smoked them every year lol.
I am not a gun "nut", I am a gun guy that appreciates theses machines. Below is some of my art work on them.

Enter THE PIG
A post-apocalyptic Zombie Killer....my personal favorite. Rattle canned to DEATH LOL

"Day of The Dead", I love Mexican Art, especially this type of art and the festival. I had an ugly 9MM Brigade and what the hell, why not. My gun buddies freaked out when they saw I painted the Eotech optic! Chill gun buddies, it's a tool people just like a hammer.

"The Fixer", painted for winter landscape, a sniper rifle chambered in 308, packs a punch, hits long range and easy on the eyes with this camo. Killed a lot of paper with this bad girl.

"The Black", a Daniel Defense 300 Blackout ACC braced pistol with crazy ass glass (if you are a shooter you know what I mean by glass) and laser. This is a BAD BOY, if Zombies ever hit....this is the one I go with, I think.
"FrankenBog", this is a 9MM Grand STRIBOG SP9 from Slovakia. Echo Tech glass with laser, compact hits like mule, love shooting this little beast. there is a cult following for these guys. I painted it ibn jungle green and ......yep.

I cut my teeth on the M-16, love the mechanics of the AR-15.....but ask any vet that has been in the field.....give me a AK if the shit really goes down. They are unbreakable, they seldom ever fail regardless of conditions....AND you do not want to be hit by one of those rounds.
This is a beauty, my Red Ryder :)
If you own guns, you have to own one AK....it is ManLaw
